Handblown by Drew Spangenberg in Adelaide, this large goblet has a bulbous smoke-hued stem that holds a vibrant, apricot bowl with a subtle gradient. The foot of the goblet also holds this dashing apricot tone. Completely handmade, slight variations in size, shape, and colour are evidence of Spangenberg's process and artistry. Each glass is not only unique, this style and colourway has been developed specifically for VNTNR, in an extremely small production run. From the artist: "Cup making is a fundamental part of glassblowing that is learned early, though takes years to master. I strive to make clean, functional goblets that pay homage to the ancient traditions and techniques of Italian cup making with an elegant, modern aesthetic.
